CESI meets ANPE in Spain to discuss the impact of digitalisation on public services

On January 14, CESI met ANPE as part of the DiWork project.
CESI President Romain Wolff and CESI SG Klaus Heeger met in Madrid the ANPE (National Association of Teachers in Spain) President Francisco Venzalá González and Vice-President Nicolas Fernandez, to talk about the European strategy: “A Europe fit for the digital age, empowering people with a new generation of technologies”.
On the agenda, important points related to the impact of digitalisation, required competencies, safety procedures, work-life balance and the need of digital tools for the #teachers in Spain.

EU Court of Justice finds Italy in breach of EU law when using fixed-term contracts
Today, the Court of Justice of the EU ruled that Italy’s system for recruiting school administrative, technical and auxiliary staff (ATA) breaches EU legislation on fixed-term work, notably Directive 1999/70/EC.
