Wednesday, March 17 will see the next edition of CESI’s event series ‘CESI@noon’ with an online panel debate on ‘Future of work: Digital world of work: Mobile working in a post-pandemic world of work?’ Registration to the event, which will be held jointly together with the Bertelsmann Stiftung, is now open.
October 7 saw a further edition of CESI’ lunchtime event series CESI@noon, which was held together with the Bertelsmann Stiftung on the topic of ‘Covid-19 and the future of work: What lessons for interest representation and trade unions?’ A central take home message: While the Covid crisis has meant a substantial challenge not only for workes but the organisation of trade unions too, it has also brought opportunities and paved the way for an re-invented, even more attractive and important trade unionism.

Yesterday, CESI hosted a CESI@noon together with the Bertelsmann Stiftung focusing on the impacts of COVID-19 on the provision of social security.
On November 6, CESI Youth held the 22nd edition of the CESI lunchtime event series “CESI@noon”, this time on “Apprenticeships in the EU: How to ensure a better transition from education to work?”. The event was held at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and in cooperation with the German Goethe Institut and EUROCHAMBERS. This lunchtime event in the framework of the European Vocational Skills Week engaged roughly 50 participants from various sectors: policy makers and experts, civil society, youth organisations, educational partners and representatives of the business sector.
