CESI member UNSP-NUOD to demonstrate against cuts to finance administration

On Saturday 17th May 2014, CESI’s member UNSP-NUOD will demonstrate alongside UFE from 11.00am in Parc du Cinquintenaire. The aim of the demonstration is to show trade union dissatisfaction from financial administration workers on how austerity has been negatively affecting their working conditions, salaries and pensions. Austerity has also cost finance personnel many jobs.

In times of economic crisis above all, CESI stands for a strong and effective tax administration which can significantly contribute to increasing a country’s revenue through their on tax fraud and tax evasion. This can ensure citizens and workers are partially relieved by the economic burden which is weighs unfairly on their shoulders.

The Union of Finance Personnel in Europe (UFE) represents the interests of employees from all ranks of tax and customs administration authorities in Europe, bringing together more than 400,000 members from 40 member unions in 20 different countries.
