At the last General Assembly, which took
place in Brussels on 6 July 2006, Peter Heesen was unanimously re-elected
President of the Europe Academy, the further training and research institute of
CESI. Heesen is currently National Chairman of the German Civil Service
Federation (DBB) and member of CESI’s Executive Board. Previously, he had also
been President of the DBB Academy. Newly elected Vice-Presidents of the Academy are: Erny Reuter (FGFC, Luxembourg), Nicolás Fernández Guisado (ANPE, Spain) and Gino Galati (CONFSAL, Italy). Assessors are: Monique Cartigny (CSEN, France) and Rainer Dumont du Voitel (FFPE, Europe). In addition, Helmut Müllers (General Secretary of CESI) and Frank Stöhr (Treasurer of CESI) are also members of the Academy’s Board. Following the elections, Heesen presented the Europe Academy’s work programme 2006/2007. The Academy will organize several international conferences which will take place in Brussels and the EU Member States. More details will be announced in due time. |
