01-02-2005:
New website on social dialogue The DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the European Commission today launched a new website on social dialogue. The website will be a huge asset for researchers and stakeholders as it will contain a database of all the agreements and joints texts reached between management and labour at European level under the social dialogue process supported by the Commission. These texts, which cover cross-industry and sectoral agreements reached at EU level, already number hundreds of pages. Visitors to the site will find texts ranging from legally binding framework agreements to joint statements, guidelines, codes of conduct and compendia of best practice, covering areas as diverse as lifelong learning, working conditions, corporate social responsibility, health and safety, telework and disability. The website will have other valuable items such as the Commission's Industrial Relations reports, studies, information about enlargement, calls for proposals, and much more. There will be also a news page and an archive. Social dialogue website: http://europa.eu.int/comm/employment_social/social_dialogue/index_en.htm |
