12-08-2003: European Education Forum in Canfranc, Spain

The Education Committee accompanied the President of the CESI, Valerio Salvatore (I), to the European Education Forum, which was organized by the trade union ANPE and took place in Canfranc, Spain, from 4th to 10th July 2003. The delegation consisted of Monique Cartigny (F) (President) as well as Ernst SCHMEER (D) and Joao GRANCHO (PT) (Vice- Presidents).
 

On 10th. July they participated in a round table discussion about the information and communication technologies on the different levels of the education system. The three participants presented, above all, the application of the ICT on the different levels of the education system in France, Germany and Portugal. At the end of the forum they elaborated a position paper on the application of the ICT in the education system.
